The Coca-Cola Company resurrects a well-known Atlanta landmark in downtown Atlanta on May 6, 2003. The Neon Spectacular features a circular, 33-foot diameter face that is covered in neon lights, which emulates the flashing and animation of the original design. The nine-foot tall, 28-feet wide Coca-Cola lettering will be illuminated with light bulbs that perform a variety of functions to depict text messaging and various graphic designs.

In 1963 the neon Cola-Cola sign at Margaret Mitchell Square reminded local residents and Atlanta vistors that "Things Go Better With Coke."
A new Cola-Cola Neon Spectacular graces the top of the old Olympia Building at Peachtree Rd. and Edgewood Ave., near Atlanta's Five Points district. The sign, modeled after an original Cola-Cola sign that stood in downtown Atlanta for nearly 50 years, features messages about upcoming Atlanta events, as well as continuous time and temperature.
